The Foundation’s principal aim in organizing concerts and the International Festival of Sacred Music and Art is to promote sacred music and to present the Foundation’s institutional activities, i.e. the restoration of precious works of sacred architecture and art. Whoever shares these intentions can take part in the Foundation’s initiatives, and in doing so contributes to the preservation of sacred music and religious art in places of worship which are part of the heritage of mankind.
With their contribution, Members in the Circle of Friends support the promotion of sacred music, the organisartion of church music concerts and the organisation of the Festival Internazionale di Musica e Arte Sacra once a year.
Members in the Circle of Friends are continuously informed about the Foundation’s activities in the current year and receive invitations to all concerts, to the Festival and to other sacred music events organized by the Foundation, with seating in the sector dedicated to them. Furthermore they will receive offers for exclusive music tours and programs.
Members in the Circle of Supporters in addition to church music concerts also support the Foundation’s restoration projects. In 2016 the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra will be supporting the following restoration and musical projects:
- the International Festival of Sacred Music and Art; the musical and ecumenical projects of the Sistine Music Chapel
- the restoration of the statues of Sts Peter and Paul in St Peter's Square;
- the restoration of the north side of St Peter's Basilica
- Patrons receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the first row.
- Diamond Supporters receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the second row.
- Platinum Supporters receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the third row.
- Friends Category Gold receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the gold sector beginning with the fourth row.
- Friends Category Silver receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the central nave behind the gold sector.
- Friends Category Bronze receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the rear rows of the central nave or in the front rows of the side naves.
- Big Friend receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat behind the bronze sector
- Friends receive an invitation to all concerts for a seat in the side naves.
Members in the Circle of Supporters receive invitations to the concerts organized by the Foundation, to the Festival and to all further Foundation events in the sector of sacred music, and, in addition to this and according to the category they choose, to all further events the foundation organizes. In 2016 these are an exclusive tour to the laboratories of the Fabric of the Basilica of St Peter and other exclusive visits to the Vatican, organized in small groups with expert English speaking giudes, which allow the visitor to see all venues in the Basilica of St peter and in the Vatican Necropolis which have been restored with the Foundation’s support. Some of these visits can be combined with an audience with His Eminence Angelo Cardinal Comastri, Vicar general of His Holiness for Vatican City, Archpriest of St Peter’s and President of the Fabric of St Peter’s. At the concerts, the Members in the Circle of Supporters will have seating in the sector dedicated to them. Furthermore they will receive offers for exclusive music tours and VIP travel programs.
For all members in the Circle of Friends and of Supporters the Foundation will be happy to help arrange participation in a general audience of Pope Francis.
